Deacon was a soldier in the 1st Recon Platoon of the 8th Armored Infantry Division.

Deacon is voiced by Taylor Henry.

Background

He and other members of the platoon were deployed to the planet New Madrid in the early stages of the Outer Rim War, tasked with disabling the planet's massive anti-orbital guns that were wreaking havoc on USIF ships in orbit.

After burning in to the battlefield from Sky Crane dropships, Deacon and the 1st Recon Platoon battled enemy Arm of Orion forces. Once the primary generators powering the anti-orbital guns were disabled, Deacon and fellow teammate Ireland were assigned to disable the secondary generators that reactivated the anti-orbital guns. On their way to the objective, they were ambushed and killed by ARM forces, leaving fellow 1st Recon members Private Corde and platoon leader Sergeant Hawthorne to complete their fallen comrades' objective instead.
